Der Hood Chair wurde von Mats Broberg und Johan Ridderstråle in Zusammenarbeit mit den Brüdern Fernando und Humberto Campana entworfen. Selbst über das Projekt sagen sie:
“The theme was “containment” and “construction from deconstruction”.Furniture often take new shapes when they are being used.The Hood Chair borrows proprieties recognized in clothing to give the chair a look and function that communicates through other channels.”
Der Stuhl würde sich bestimmt gut in englischen Shoppingcenter machen. Dort ist das Tragen von Hodies nämlich verboten. Aber darauf zu sitzen, sollte doch erlaubt sein.
